Devorah has been a licensed psychotherapist since 2003. She has worked extensively in treating trauma for people of all ages. Devorah is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is in the process of becoming certified. Devorah is also trained in Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). Devorah utilizes family systems theory, psychodynamic theory and provides play and sand play therapy. She is passionate about group therapy and working with children, adolescents, adults families and the LGBTQIA+ community including gender diverse youth.
Devorah graduated with her Masters in Social Work from CSU-Sacramento in 2000, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz in 1994. A long-time resident of Sacramento, when she is not working, Devorah can usually be found in nature or pursuing her passion for travel, gardening, and cooking.
