What is the Open Clinic?

The Open Clinic is a walk-in counseling clinic, designed as a way for new or existing clients to meet with a therapist without a scheduled appointment.

New Clients:
Many individuals feel overwhelmed with the process of beginning therapy, and it is completely normal to feel this way. Sometimes beginning the therapy process means waiting two or more weeks for an initial intake appointment. At the Open Clinic, you are able to directly address your presenting concerns immediately and without the commitment of a pre-scheduled appointment or commitment to long-term therapy.
Existing Clients:
Existing Middle Way Health clients use the services of the Open Clinic when a time-sensitive issue arises before the next scheduled appointment, OR when scheduling an appointment in advance is not possible.

How does the Open Clinic Work?

The attending therapist will meet with clients in the order in which clients arrive and sign-in at the front desk during Open Clinic hours, Mondays 10:00am-5:00pm or Thursdays 1:00pm-6:00pm. There is no need to call ahead. Simply come to the clinic at a time that is convenient for you during Open Clinic hours. There will be a few short forms that you will need to complete.

Please note, the attending therapist will make every effort to meet with all clients who sign-in before 5:00pm on Mondays and 6:00pm on Thursdays. However, there is no guarantee that all clients will be seen during each Open Clinic.

What is the cost?

The Open Clinic is private-pay only and does not accept insurance. The fee is $40.00/25-30 minute session and $70.00/45-50 minute session. The Open Clinic accepts cash, check or credit card.
